Java FHIR Developer

Kforce's client is seeking a remote Java FHIR Developer to design, develop, and implement FHIR-based API solutions to meet CMS requirements. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, creating architecture for FHIR APIs, designing and implementing HL7 FHIR interfaces, testing, troubleshooting, and integrating web applications with FHIR API endpoints. Ongoing support and maintenance for existing HL7 FHIR interfaces are also key responsibilities.

Must Have

• 2+ years of experience in HL7 FHIR implementation
• Hands-on experience with Oracle
• Proficiency in Java, Springboot, Javascript
• Strong understanding of HL7 FHIR 4.0.1 standard
• Familiarity with FHIR implementation guides like DaVinci, CARIN, US Core
• Experience performing data mapping of Source data sets to FHIR resources
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development
• Hands-on experience using OAuth
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and AWS DevOps
• Experience securing API's

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define specifications for data exchange
• Create conceptual and detailed architecture for APIs using FHIR resources
• Design, develop, and implement HL7 FHIR interfaces and solutions
• Test and troubleshoot HL7 FHIR implementations to ensure reliability and compatibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the web application with FHIR API endpoints and other data sources in a seamless manner
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing HL7 FHIR interfaces
